I never really travel alone. This is the first time. Even just few days.

I was tried, bored sometimes, but I love it! A little bit anxious. At the same time just happy about start a new travel again. Took such a long time flight, watched sunrise on airplane, try to figure out everything by myself. And I did it.

When I was in Sydney, the T-bus driver said to me ”You must be going to holiday, and you stylish”. Because there is winter, everyone wear coat and whole black, I wear colorful maxi dress. And he gave me discount for the ticket. In Sydney airport, I try to buy a watch for my mom, accidentally bought one for myself. Yes, I deserve it, treat myself very well as always. And the Armani staff came from Taiwan! He even told me how to get job in Sydney airport! What a great beginning!

On the flight from Port Vila to Tanna. I have a nice chat with a lady who sits next to me. She told me she is a teacher come with her students. They are from sunshine coast. It’s a project which is try to lead students have a different experience. They been to hideaway island for painting the school, visit local village, and donated something for children there.

I said”it’s very nice; they will be much more appreciating what they have”

She said” some kids said, they even don’t have internet, I ever complaint if my laptop broken. They changed in their mind”

They grow up in Vanuatu.

How about myself?

What’s the meaning to come to here?

When I in front of Tanna airport. I didn’t see any sign of my resort. Felt lost. A local man came to me and said stay there, help me find my driver. Jump in 4WD, drive on the macadam road. There is nothing. Only trees, bushes and some lovely house around the road. Such a natural island. Not that civilization, not that over development. They just live in their way. In that moment, I knew I will love here! Felt so exciting to explore this virgin island.

All the afternoon, I walked on the black beach, took some picture. Children have fun together, running on the sands with smile. Also, sit in my own baloney, writing and reading. Wish I bring more books here. It’s really amazing about sit there do something I like. When I tired, just put down the book, all I can see is magnificent Pacific Ocean. Listen to the sound of wave. Feel like in a cradle with a beautiful lullaby. Sunset light up the blue water made it sparkling and golden. The mist float around the air, bring light fog like delicate chiffon.

Beauty surrounding me.

Peaceful and placid.

Extremely relax.

Then I realized, It’s all about enjoy life. Enjoy every moment I have. And make decision by myself. Go for what I want. Far away from busy and worry. Far away from the world. We never know what will happen on your journey.

Life should be full of surprise.

One thing surprise me is every local man I met here, they always ask me “Did you marry?” “Husband and kids?” That always made me laughs.

No, I’m single.

And I can’t stop move forward.
